LOVE WITH THE PROPER STRANGER (1964) - Some Of The Best CZECH Movie Posters (Part 4)
STEVE MCQUEEN is best known for his tough guy adventure/western/war movies but he also played more sensitive characters as in the 1964 romantic comedy Love With The Proper Stranger directed by Robert Mulligan where he plays a failed musician falling in love with the eternally lovely Natalie Wood
Check the trailer here but the Czech poster above created by Dimitrij Kadrnozka in 1967 is much more interesting as it ads a unique color playfulness to McQueen’s character and puts Natalie Wood in the background with blonde Edie Adams in the forefront. This poster designed by  is extremely rare to find and a must have for all Steve McQueen/Natalie Wood fans out there

BULLITT (1968) - JACQUELINE BISSET Best Movie Posters (Part 1)

JACQUELINE BISSET: A name which inspires elegance, sensuality, amazing body and great acting. The British born actress has carried her splendid frame and bass voice in over 87 movies and TV movies since her debut in 1965 in the mod movie The Knack. After several small roles including a sexy cameo as Miss Goodthighs in James Bond’s 1967 CASINO ROYALE (video here), she finally found success in one of the best action movie ever filmed: BULLITT

It propelled her into stardom as Bisset simply shines as the lone female character in this 1968 movie directed by Peter Yates (see Part 8) and starring opposite no less than Steve McQueen, Robert Vaughn and Robert Duvall.

Bullitt is the ultimate movie love letter to San Francisco with its car chase scene and other great shots of the hilly Pacific coastal city and is probably one of the most collected movie when it comes to poster art

VIDEO (here): You all know the car chase scene but the Jazz club scene is where Bisset truly shines (music by Lalo Schifrin)

From top to bottom (l to r): Italian fotobusta / Japanese movie program / German poster / Japanese 1974 rerelease poster / 2010 rerelease with art by David O’Daniel / Belgian poster with art by Ray (Raymond Elseviers) / 2 more italian fotobusta posters
